Bridesmaid dresses under $100

Today we explore the world of brideswomen dresses that are in the $50-$100 range. You’ll notice that in this range the dresses tend to have a bit more detail and use a slightly nicer fabric. Let’s start with some of the same online sources I shared with you in the $50 and under range. Starting with Lulu’s, you can see the fun, young, and flirty look. They seem to be a tad on the short and slinky side still. Very cute for night-time youthful parties.

Lulu’s Tranquility Dress in Purple – $72.00

Lulu’s Date Dress in Teal – $57

This next ModCloth dress can easily be worn for a daytime wedding. I can also see added DIY details such as rosettes, belts, and sashes.

ModCloth’s Crop Circle Dress in Penomenon – $52.99

Helooo lace and satin!

ModCloth’s A Trace of Lace Dress in Copper – $62.99

Ruffles are so in right now. Flirty and easy to wear. The fuller skirt and tie belt make this number easier for a large range of body types.

ModCloth’s She’s A Lady Dress in Black – $64.99

Now the ultimate in versatility is the convertible (aka infinity dress). Look at these Victoria Secret dresses. They come in a large number of colors and are really easy to order. Each woman can choose her own way of wearing the dress. This is an especially perfect option for destination weddings because you don’t have to deal with steaming and ironing dresses the day of the wedding. Anything for one less thing on the task list right? A second bonus is the additional savings you can get when you subscribe to their email list. I regularly get 20% off discounts on one item. So what is a $100 dress turns into an $80 dress. Score!

Victoria’s Secret Rusched Convertible Dress – $88

Victoria’s Secret Flirty Convertible Dress – $95

My preference is dresses normally priced under $100, but I’d love to hear about dresses that are under $100 when discounted or on sale! How about some other stores and locations to check for dresses under the $100 mark? Or do you think we’re losing something by getting cheaper dresses?

Bridesmaid dresses under $50

Yeah you read that right. Bridesmaid dresses under 50 buck-er-roos! A girl’s gotta dream and set goals for herself right? As the saying goes, I like to set shoot for the moon and if I don’t succeed, at least I’ll land among the stars. First off, on a total side note, I love the sentiment of this saying but it doesn’t make any logical sense to me. If you don’t make it to the moon, you would fall back down to earth because the stars are much further than the moon. But shhhhh. Don’t tell anyone. I still have this saying at my desk. 🙂

So here are my finds of the day from a couple of my favorite places to window-net shop, also known as shopping online, loading up my cart, then closing my browser. Did I just make that up? Uh… maybe? What else could you call it?

Let’s start with Lulu’s. I am always shocked at their prices. I haven’t actually bought clothes from this site, but I think their selection is great. They typically only carry dresses in Small, Medium, and Large. If you have a large bridal party with lots of varying body types like I do, this is a problem. But here are some of my recent faves.

Lulu’s Yours Truly Dress in Plum and Silver – $33.00

Lulu’s About Town Dress in Mustard – $37 I adore this dress! I simply can’t believe it’s only $37. Look at the pockets and the details. I’m very tempted to buy it and just have it altered to fit my petite little frame.

Moving on to ModCloth. Not only do I window-net shop here all the time, I like to read their blog too. They have the cutest specials. Again, I have not bought clothes from here but they seem very similar to Lulu’s.

ModCloth’s Precious Parcel Dress – $49.99

And the winner in low-cost dress is forever21. The beauty of forever21 lies in their extremely low prices and the number of locations they have around the country. The problem with them is their quality. I use to joke that their clothes would only lost 21 hours. Now, for a wedding that would be perfectly fine. Twenty-one hours is more than enough. But their lower quality fabrics don’t exactly look great in photos and their low quality craftsmanship often means the clothes doesn’t quite fit right. So move forward with caution and pick dresses wisely. I have bough clothes from their online store and actually did not end up wearing any of it because it did not fit me properly. With that said, I still look and love. Strange you say? well… that’s the beauty of window-net shopping!

Forever21 H81 Sheer Striped Floral Dress – $26.90

Forever21 Ruffle Front Shirt Dress – $39

Windsor is another store people often forget about. I use to shop at Windsor for my homecoming dresses in the highschool dance days.

Windsor’s Black Halter Dress – $49.90

Windsor’s Black and White Short Day Dress – $49.90

Aww… and Target! I love me a good Target roaming trip. So why wouldn’t I also love roaming and window-net shopping on their website. I would indeed! Unfortunately, I am unable to get their images on here. So let me just encourage you to check our their dresses. Almost every single one is $39.99! Score and score.

Aren’t they are so pretty? And unbelievably cheap. On a final note of caution, these dresses tend to be pretty short and come in the typical Small, Medium, and Large. But if you have a small wedding party or can adjust these dresses it fit, they’re a great option.

Do you have any suggestions for other places to surf for dresses under $50?

Next time we’ll visit the idea of dresses under $100.
